Cody Ross gets a bloop hit to RF.

:bases_firstbase 0 outs. Jeremy Hermida up.

I don't know about anyone else but at this point I'm really curious what Brett Carroll did to be this deep in Fredi's doghouse.

He got many outs.

Pretty sure he was referring to the fact that Ross was put in as a defensive replacement over Carroll the other night. That's when you know something is up.

You're not serious right?

The last time the guy started a game was April 5th. He's had a total of 11 at bats, seven of which came April 2nd and and April 5th.

Brett Carroll = good pinch runner / defensive replacement.

Other than that...the reason why he and Andino don't play much is b/c well...they're the worst players on the team.

Cody Ross steals 2nd base, and gets to 3rd on the throwing error.

sac fly for Hanley. :notworthy

1-0 Marlins

:bases_empty 2 outs. Jorge Cantu up.

I love the back story stuff , it almost has nothing to do with Carroll, because his not playing has nothing to do with his skill set.

It's like the old saying "Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought him back".

It's like this little secret I'm dieing to hear.

It's not just his starts. It's his 60 ABs in the big leagues. While that's not a huge number, he hasn't done anything to impress anyone up here.

ummm...that's exactly why he doesn't play.

He's proven to be a mediocre (to be nice) hitter.

You guys are just failing to notice that Cody Ross is much more deserving of playing time, b/c he actually hit about .330 last year. Carroll's never done that, and you guys are overrating Brett Carroll. The guy is not even a prospect, by any stretch of the imagination. He's just a nice bench player.
