Abuse case against Cantu dismissed.

The domestic violence allegation against Jorge Cantu was dismissed on Thursday.

Nanci Michelle Ikerd claimed that Cantu had bruised her left biceps and verbally threatened her on February 8. Her two requests for a protection order against Cantu had previously been denied. "The charges were false. The court not once, but twice rejected her claims," said Steve Canter, Cantu's agent.

Regardless of the case's validity, he hasn't been letting it bother him. I've been pulling for Cantu since the battle for third during spring training and have been extremely impressed with his play.

that's good

and shows why you shouldn't be quick to assume haha :ymca

Agreed. Actually, I was waiting to see if someone posted this. Now where are all those folks that had him tried, convicted, and hung up by his, ummm, thumbs when the first reports came out?? Come on people. You know who you are.
