July 17, 200818 yr That is awesome. That's cool. He is having a good year. Playing on the Olympic team would be a nice consolation to spending another year in AAA. And winning a gold medal might top a late season call up to the majors.
July 17, 200818 yr I don't see a roster...... I did look on the site for USA Baseball, and a kid from my school made the 16U team. But of course, he's a phenom/freak who throws around 90 mph at 15 y.o.
July 17, 200818 yr Blaine Neal?! Dont tell me the same one from the Marlin a few years back. Yep, the one and only. He's having a pretty good year thus far. Remember the 2000 team that won the gold was a mix of young up and comers and a handful of crafty vets.
