Ok now I am being a *suck up*

:p

I've got it for the next 2 years.

got wat

May I say something...

On this date in 2003

The Marlins were 53-49 (3rd place)

Is it destiny, or just a weird coincidence?

How many times in the past month has this been brought up. Whoop dee doo, what is its meaning?

The bottom line is that the 2003 team went 38-22 the rest of the way. Does the current team have the ability to do that? Who knows.

But why assume that we can't? I mean, we've followed their path so far.

Dude, our current team definitely has the ability to go 6 games over .500 from here on out.

Just can't give up because of a tough loss. I know it stings trust me when Helms came to the plate, I started getting happy (nervous) only to be let down.

So what! The Phillies came back and stole the division from the Mets and they were what 6 or something games out with like 16 remaining (IDK what it actually was I am just throwing numbers out)

Anything can happen.

Plus, Josh Willingham (MAY) just be back! He went 2-4

O yea we have a pretty solid bullpen too!

We have the tools to win the division no doubt, not saying we will but we definitely can. The Mets and Phillies pose the lightest division threat I have ever seen.

You actually posted this again?.

Yeah...problem, fairweather fan?

I don't see why you post, period. Do you ever have anything positive to post about the team? Do you ever add anything to a thread?

It's funny how we see you a lot more after a loss, instead of after a win. It's almost as if you root against the team.

Stop treating people's posts as if they're idiotic. The only thing idiotic is your continuous sarcasm.

It seems as soon as someone offers honest and fair criticism, you begin to shout fairweather fan or troll.

Member:Goddamn Olsen's bad pitching tonight.

Erick replys:Your a freakin Fairweather fan!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! you not a real fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really? You got a link to that? I'm just realistic. We are 53-49 with 2 GB and 60 to go.

You know what I recall? You earlier on this year on gamethreads calling this team a fluke after every loss. Notice how I'm not bashing anyone but you.

Why? B/c you add nothing.

You're not offering honest criticism...you're being an idiot. And for what it's worth, I didn't see DolphinCrazie's post; that's why this one's here.

Yeah i'm the only one your bashing yet you create a topic about so called "fairweather" post people made or are going to make. You have called many people fairweather fans here, and your constant complaining about members here is quite annoying.

You are very unpleasant :| Vile creature. :mad

For someone who doesn't like stats, you've certainly been using them tonight.

Btw, that stat is irrelevant. The past has no impact on the future.

That's something you don't seem to be grasping. Stats don't tell us what will happen in the future. They are just an indication of what's been done well / bad in the past.

Also, not only is it a different year, but it is a completely different roster.

Will you still be saying that when the Marlins win the World Series this year? :suspect

I never thought I would ever find a Marlins forum board, but one day when I meant to type in Marlins.com I typed in Marlinsbaseball.com and I found this wonderful site!

You are right. I did b/c when I posted this thread, the comments were already arising in the post-game thread. Instead of just saying why the team was struggling, a couple people decided to predict the future, and say we were going on a downward spiral.

As far as (since the thread began)...correct me if I'm wrong...but as of right now, I'm only arguing with you.

May I say something...

Mark this thread. The Marlins will win the Wild Card, defeat the Cubs in the first round, defeat the Phillies in the second round, then defeat the Rays in the WS. I've got it all planned out, lol.

I know. I was about to say the Marlins will win the NL East, but the only way they win the WS is if they win the wild card.
