August 2, 200817 yr wow, $20 million to... A) Save ur reputation B) sit at home C) not have to practice or do anything D) most importantly, NOT LOOK LIKE AN A-HOLE TO THE PUBLIC Actually, it's $20 million so that the Packers don't look like a-holes to the public. It's basically hush money. He wants to play, and has called the Packers' every bluff, and all it is doing is making them look like bastards to most cheeseheads, who mostly want Brett back.
August 4, 200817 yr Favre going to camp today.... Packers now saying it will be an open competition..... Rodgers getting screwed.... Packers full of sh*t once again
August 4, 200817 yr Favre going to camp today.... Packers now saying it will be an open competition..... Rodgers getting screwed.... Packers full of sh*t once again How can Rodgers be that upset? he is getting rich doing nothing.

I'm sure he rather play.... also for 2 weeks now the Packers have been saying Rodgers is the starter...
August 4, 200817 yr Favre going to camp today.... Packers now saying it will be an open competition..... Rodgers getting screwed.... Packers full of sh*t once again How is Rodgers getting screwed he is not entitled to be the starting quarterback , he has to earn it just like everyone else .

Im pretty sure Rodgers can opt out after this season. If Favre gets the starting job, the Packers can kiss Aaron good-bye...
August 5, 200817 yr Author i am sick of espn and covering favre amen So am I, but what else do they have to talk about besides baseball?
August 5, 200817 yr The guy is an all-time great and everything, but seriously...who cares? Don't get me wrong, it deserves coverage. But sooner or later, if this continues, I'll know about Favre more than I know about my relatives. Pretty soon ESPN is going to show us Brett in the shower, or when Brett took a sh*t. It's definitely the biggest story in the NFL right now, but...Jeez! Btw, does ANYONE even care about team training camps? Why do they make such a big deal about practice in the NFL? Instead of covering training camp everyday, maybe they should take ONE day of the week (at least) to cover...oh, I don't know...HOCKEY! Between training camps, poker, and all the other non-relevant "sports" they are covering...it'd be nice to hear an analysis from Don Cherry or someone, once in awhile (even if does blind the eyes for a couple minutes).
August 5, 200817 yr After 5 hour meeting last night Favre was told the team plans to trade him and should not attend practice,Favre said he would like to be traded within division and the Packers said they rather trade him to a team outside the division and that Aron Rodgers is there starter...

According to ESPN, hockey does not exist in the U.S., lol. It would be nice to hear from Cherry though...and entertaining.

August 5, 200817 yr Brett Favre has Mark Martin syndrome. When you say you're retiring .... do it with dignity and don't do something that would tarnish your reputation. More like Roger Clemens syndrome. But I agree.

August 5, 200817 yr Favre is such a f***ing diva. I don't fault the Packers at all. They had to move on without assuming he'd change his mind so soon. And it's just not fair to Aaron Rogers. When they said they'd welcome Favre back if he changed his mind, it's the same thing as when you run into an ex and say "It was so good to see you. Let's hang out sometime." You don't really mean it, you're just trying to be nice. And what if the Bucs get him? Then Jeff Garcia gets the shaft. Brett Favre doesn't care whose career he steps on as long as he gets what he wants. What a douche. Dan Marino for life!!!

I only get to go to about 10 games per year though, since ticket prices are insane now. When I'm lucky I get to sit in a skybox that my firend's dad owns.

August 5, 200817 yr press conference wasa joke again today. How does Brett piss off people every other day. Its all bizarre IDK, he used to be my favorite quarter back but this is just our of hand now. I am really really sick and tired of the same thing over and over and over and over. Make up your mind and move on, ESPN needs to chill and not repeat the same story numerous times.
