August 4, 200818 yr Btw, to those complaining that we can't beat the Rockies...note that they've been awesome since the Break, and that this is the same team that went to the World Series LAST YEAR. They've had a lot of injuries this year, but they should only get better, as the season progresses.

They also had a chance to lose 31 extra games, and came back to win 31 times (amongst the league leaders). It happens. July 4th really sucked though. :banghead But, it's time to move on.

But yeah, we split a series against a team that was incredibly hot, we suck. u and Erick are 2 peas in a pod, u both automatically put down other peoples opinions because u don't agree with it, u don't even try to think for a second why they may have said that, the Rockies are still a 10 game under .500 team, they did not have any good starting pitchers pitch against us, we did horrible with RISP, we deserved to lose that series, i am happy wit a split, because the way we have been hitting since Mid July has been atrocious. Isn't that exactly what you are doing?? Actually, I don't see Rab putting anybody down. He's simply voicing his opinion. And one I happen to agree with. We should have taken 3 out 4, but once I witnessed those bats Saturday night I was worried about Sunday. And we got more of the same Sunday. Forget the Rox overall record. They came here as one of the hottest teams in the NL since the ASB. And they played us like that. They are probably thinking they can repeat what they did last year towards the end of the season.

There's no spin for struggling against Glendon Rusch either. As I said earlier, splitting a series on the road is one thing but splitting a series at home against the Rockies is another. We all want our team to play better and go on a winning streak but I don't understand why it's so difficult to just say, yeah, they've played like crap and they need to improve in certain areas. Contrary to what some may think it does not make you a pessimist or a bad fan.
