i didn't think that the NBA would rig games but they clearly rigged the Lakers vs. Kings. Dang it my kings should have been champions. i think that david stern should be impeached and the kings should be given the 2002 championship like they deserve.

IT was all Donaghy's fault not Stern's

i think that stern was behind it because lakers vs. nets would have brought bigger tv ratings than kings vs. nets. let's go back talking about the marlins because all this 2002 championship talk is making me depressed.

What's with this obsession with getting respect from the media? Its getting pathetic.

I don't think its so much an obsession of getting respect... its more about having fun complaining with people who will share your opinion. Even if we did get respect we'd find something else to complain about, Yankees and Mets fans never run out of things to bitch over.

i didnt see this posted anywhere but if it was i apologize. Fox sports currently gives the marlins a 40/1 chance to win the world series. But thats not all. Those dickheads gave the cardinals, tigers, dodgers, phillies, diamondbacks, and yes the F**** METS a better chance than us to win the world series. But wait theres more. They say that our starting pitching is bad, but they fail to meniton that we had hendrickson, tucker, badenhop, and vanden hurk as our pitchers during the first 3 months of baseball. They fail to mention getting back JJ and sanchez and the impressive pitching of volstad. What do the marlins have to do to get some damn respect?

After you read that you should have just stopped reading, because obviously the moron knew NOTHING of what he was talking about, case closed. f*** them.

At this point, who cares? We know the national media doesn't respect the Marlins and there's nothing we can do about that. It's gonna be like that for atleast a few more years.

And anyway, ain't it gonna be much sweeter when we win the world series again and stick it in there faces?

I bet every sports writer at fox sports will then say "I knew they'd do it!"

:thumbup :thumbup :thumbup

The only national sportswriter who really does their homework on the Fish and "gets" the Marlins is Jayson Stark. Everyone else, including Ken Rosenthal, is just not worth reading. So don't read them. Unless it's Stark.
