Pictures of Andrew Miller's rehab start...

Featured Replies

like I said in the beginning of the season, Miller is not major league ready yet, he needs another half a year in the minors, he will be fine for a June/July call up in 2009

DAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMIT. I was gonna go last night, but my dad decided "he didn't want to". We're going today. Crap. I love Miller.

Will he be with the team today?

I think they get Sundays off during rehabs.

Andrew is ridiculously friendly. Check out this YouTube video we shot after he promised during a game to meet us at the back of Dolphin Stadium.

Hey waxheaven, welcome to MarlinsBaseball.com.

I'm not sure if you remember me, but I posted on your site giving you crap after fanfest for calling Hermida and Ross scrubs.

Do you think Miller should be a September callup? Out of the pen? The Rays are doing this with David Price; Miller would certainly be more dominant in relief, especially against LH hitters b/c he wouldn't have to worry about "saving it for later." He could just come in and throw 97 mph gas, along with the breaking ball.

I'm not a big fan of putting young pitchers to pitch in relief like this, when they have valuable potential as starters, but I just wanted to hear some opinions.

I will gladly admit that I was new to Marlins baseball and have since learned my lesson. I freakin' love both those guys now. Actually, love the entire team.

Thank god Fredi did'nt put Tucker in the pen.

He has looked average (AT BEST) in the minors.

Let's keep him down there until he shows us, what kind of pitcher he is supposed to be.

2.54 ERA in the minors. Much better than average.

That said, he hasn't had nearly enough time there.

Yeah his agent (Boras?) ruined him by having that ML callup in his contract... these young pitchers need to learn that they need time in the minors if they want to be successful, the only exception would be a few college closers... but starters definitely need the minors time

That would be a great idea. There aren't too many lefty specialists that would fit Miller's profile. Especially down the strech when we are facing guys like Howard, Utley and, Delgado.
