September 13, 200818 yr So I guess I'm the only one that thinks Olsen got lucky tonight and should still be replaced for the rest of the year? if they plan on trading him in the offseason they need to show him off to other teams and hopefully he has more good outings

It wouldnt do much to inspire confidence in the minds of scouts if a guy on a non-playoff team was yanked from the rotation with a couple of weeks left in the season due to his performances.
September 13, 200818 yr So I guess I'm the only one that thinks Olsen got lucky tonight and should still be replaced for the rest of the year? if anyone gets replaced for the rest of the season it would be anibal because he's been struggling and just returned from an injury and i think a 0% chance of getting traded. i want to see what miller can do as a starter since his return from the DL

I think Anibal could maybe be a bullpen guy but not a starter.

He has nothing since surgery nothing he thorws seems to fool hitters. I wish i could say maybe his arm is tired or soemthing but look at his velocity its as high as you can expect. Im probably judging him to fast but if he sucks in ST next year ill be confident he is done as a starter. I hope he pres me worng but i just dont see anything in him, he gone through alot and i dont know if he can ever fully come back.
September 13, 200818 yr So I guess I'm the only one that thinks Olsen got lucky tonight and should still be replaced for the rest of the year? 6 hits and 4 walks in 6 innigs only 1 run and gets the win he was lucky tonight but I wouldnt replace him

September 13, 200818 yr So I guess I'm the only one that thinks Olsen got lucky tonight and should still be replaced for the rest of the year? I wouldn't mind sitting Olsen, but they still need to run him out there and pray that he increases his trade value. As others have said, it makes no sense to keep starting Anibal Sanchez. And it makes no sense to keep Andrew Miller in the bullpen. The problem is that Fredi still thinks the Marlins are in the playoff chase, so he is still playing the same guys as before instead of getting a look at the younger players.

September 13, 200818 yr History made as Cantu hits #25. with 15 games left do you think hanley (29) and cantu (25) can each reach 30 so that everyone in the infeld has at least 30 homeruns

Cantu is more of a doubles type of hitter, i would rather not have him mess up his swing trying to get that home run
