I think Penny is a decent signing. I would like them to see them maybe go after Derek Lowe.

I would like them to see them maybe go after Derek Lowe. i think that lowe wanted too much money (14-16 million per year) so they signed penny. this will give them flexibility next season to sign matt holliday since they missed out on teixeira this offseason.

I mean like really, I would give a leg and an arm to get Justin Masterson also MarlinsLou, are you sure this signing maybe marks the end of Wakefield with the Red Sox? I don't think the Sox are giving up on Bucholtz, and Masterson was a key component to their bullpen last year
