February 4, 200917 yr I figure it would be good to start a thread so every one can talk about who their team has signed. Happy Holiday to all College Football fans.
February 4, 200917 yr Jelani Jenkins to UF, that was a nice pickup Billy Sanders to UM I'm pissed that Bryce isn't announcing today
February 4, 200917 yr Frankie Telfort to USC Local kid from Gulliver, 4 star OLB recruit Kayvon Webster to USF
February 4, 200917 yr I am waiting on all the FCS school signings. Charleston Southern has had a huge class so far of 26 kids. Some nice size too.
February 4, 200917 yr JMU (FCS and Dodge alma mater) stole one from ACC schools. Stanton committed to JMU after spurning offers from a pair of ACC schools, Boston College and Maryland, his coach said Monday.
February 4, 200917 yr This is where the Big Three stand right now: Rivals: ====== FSU - 6th UF - 7th UM - 9th Scout: ====== UF - 15th FSU - 16th UM - 20th From what I understand Rivals is better than Scout. http://rivals100.rivals.com/teamrank.asp?SID=880 http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p...=14&yr=2009
February 4, 200917 yr USF not cracking the ranking? They're 24th in one and tied for 32nd in the other. That's great compared to past years so they should be happy.

Anyway, I have a feeling Brown is going to Oregon. As good of a talent as he is, I don't think it will hurt Miami that much. They already have James and Cooper who are decent, plus another top HB in this class.

ESPN's rankings: UF- 5 UM- 6 FSU- 10 If they tweak them, then they must tweak them a lot.

February 4, 200917 yr interesting stuff. I would like to see how the next 3 years are for FIU they had a decent season this year and I wonder if they build on that. FAU regressed a lot this year, but still got a bowl game.

FAU regressed a lot this year, but still got a bowl game. I don't think FAU regressed so much as played an extremely difficult early season schedule. FAU played Texas, Michigan State, and Minnesota 3 out of the 1st 4 games....and then lost on a last second hail mary at MTSU. But we did finish the season 6-1 with a Bowl win. But it will be interesting to watch both FAU and FIU develop. The caliber of athlete that both programs are attracting keeps getting better. The two teams aren't competing with UM, FSU, or UF for recruits, but they are doing a good job of keeping that next tier of prospect in state.
February 4, 200917 yr The rest of the country has to be getting increasingly annoyed that the Florida teams are getting back to monopolizing in-state talent

February 5, 200917 yr When ESPN says: Last Updated: 02/02/2009 I think they mean they last updated the page on 02/02/2009 which is two days ago. Latest rankings are, Scout: 17. FSU 20. UM 21. UF ESPN: 5. UF 7. UM 8. FSU (These were the rankings on the ESPN ticker.) Again, they're completely different.
February 5, 200917 yr I'm very happy with FIU's class this year. Is it football season yet? I can't wait already!
February 5, 200917 yr Author I'm amazed at New Mexico's class. Mike Locksley was hired just a couple of months ago and managed to bring in the best recruiting class in UNM history. We got a 3-star QB Darren Jones out of Illinois who held offers from Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. A 3-star HB Demond Dennis from Atlanta who had been commited to Georgia Tech/Troy and held offers from Illinois and Louisville. A 3-star WR Derrell Person from DC who had been commited to Syracuse and held offers from Illinois, Maryland and Virginia. We also got an All-State HB from Texas and an All-State OL from Louisiana. One schlarship left, hopefully Locksley can get another big time player to come and play. I can't wait to see what he can do with a full year to recruit.
