November 5, 200322 yr i know we got some wwe fans up in here instead of baseball and football here. so how about that raw monday night eh? that was some good s***. but man if eric bishoff ever wins i still hate that bastard ever since he was in the wcw. if he wins all hell is gonna break lose. my dream match would also be Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs Shawn Michales at Wrestlemania XX that would be an awesome match maybe better then wrestlemania 14.
November 5, 200322 yr I refuse to watch it as long as that no talent piece of s*** Bill Goldberg is world champion
November 5, 200322 yr Author so your telling me that you dont like bill goldberg? i been liking that guy since wcw and been dreaming about him in the wwe. but i do have to tell you though i hate it when triple h is the wwe world champ because he cries all the time about winning that title back.
November 5, 200322 yr Author my name is reclusedx andim a nerd. so whats that supose mean dawg. does that supose to impress me?
November 5, 200322 yr You know what I like about the WWE? NOTHING Its stupid a** scripted bulls*** Who cares who is "champion" or who's fudge packing who. The stories aren't even any good. They used to just fight and have some pretty good throw downs (WWF) but now it all just sucks. Its a SOAP OPERA that sucks worse than a real soap opera. I used to like wrestling, then I turned 10.
November 5, 200322 yr Author ok then lets talk about the classics wwf back then. i just loved watching the saturday night i forgot what its called back then. i remember Rowdy Pipper and Bad News Brown were going at it. but the best one was at Wrestlemania 3 when Hulk Hogan was going against The Late Andre The Giant when haulk picked him up and body slammed him to the ground that was a cool match.
November 5, 200322 yr I refuse to watch it as long as that no talent piece of s*** Bill Goldberg is world champion I'd rather have him champion than Triple H.

JBurque, you're embarrassing yourself by pointing out that it's scripted. Please. By the way, what would you consider a "pretty good throw down."?
November 5, 200322 yr exactly my point i believe we got some smartasses in here do we g? Whenever you talk about wrestling with people who don't "get it", they always point out that it's fake, as if we're watching it because, despite the fact WWE has all but said it on it's program, we think it's real. When I watch a sitcom like Drew Carey, I know he doesn't REALLY work at Winfred-Louder, and that the lady that plays Mimi doesn't REALLY dress like that.
November 5, 200322 yr Author true that is drew that plays mimi. but i have been loving wrestling all my life never miss raw never miss smackdown. well for now im missing smackdown because vince just put paul haymen as the new gm for smackdown so that killed it for me right there his shortass

November 5, 200322 yr Author now let me ask you too a question since those 2 dont give a rats a** about wrestling. at servior series who do you think will win naming a few match. Undertaker Vs Vince Burried Alive Match, Bitchoff Team Vs Austin's Team, Goldberg Vs Triple H, the good matchs right here Lita Vs Molly Holly tell me who do you think will win and why.

Undertaker Vs Vince Burried Alive Match, Bitchoff Team Vs Austin's Team, Goldberg Vs Triple H, the good matchs right here Lita Vs Molly Holly tell me who do you think will win and why. I've heard Vince will beat 'Taker, leading to him taking time off, then coming back with the "Dead Man" gimmick around WrestleMania, in time to fight Kane. I hope Bischoff's team beats Austin's team. If not, Bischoff really has nothing on his plate. Plus, I've always thought Bischoff's character needs to be the smarmy one he was in WCW, not the groveling loser he is now. Triple H v.s Goldberg? Are you kidding? Triple H hasn't been around the last 3 or 4 weeks, and he's slated to be in the main event of a PPV in little over a week. That should tell you. I LOVE Molly, but they'll give the win to Lita, thus making the women's belt mean even LESS because every woman in the division has held it.
November 5, 200322 yr I hope Vince beats Taker. I'm so tired of that guy and Vince's stuff last week was flat-out classic. As far as Goldberg goes, I hated him in WCW and was expecting to hate him here, but he's been too awesome. He's got too much enthusiasm and he just has that "it" factor. You just know you're watching something special. Don't care if he's limited in the ring, he's got enough to get the job done. I'm also a huge Booker T fan and John Cena has been growing on me a lot lately. That and my main man, Hardcore Holly, is coming back at Survivor Series. Hopefully they won't waste him like they usually do and are currently doing to the charisma machine that is Kanyon. As for Raw, it's been on a roll lately and it's just gonna get better when Matt Hardy starts. V ONE-AH!

Hogan beating Andre was the passing of the torch. Hogan did the same for Rock...but Rock was an ungrateful prick and forgot what made him famous. WWF > WWE
November 5, 200322 yr Author as for bitchoff he is really a damn loser. i mean that guy has no class. i mean all though when he first came to raw? he was nothing but a corny little b*tch. but i would believe goldberg will beat triple for the world title. i would believe that austin will beat bitchoff so he can finally raise some hell. because what bitchoff have done havent done a great job keepin the business real. Vince will beat Undertaker i can tell you that. have you guys heard that Macho Man is trying to call out hulk hogan for wrestlemania?

After what Holly did to Capotelli on TE3 and what he TRIED to do to Lesnar, I have no respect for the guy. Frankly, I'm tired of 'Taker AND Vince.
November 5, 200322 yr Sorry for being Mr. Obvious and pointing out the scripted part but cmon. I used to really like wrestling back in the day (maybe b/c I was younger i dunno). I still have Wrestlemania 1-5 on tape in my attic somewhere. I just can't get into how it is now. Its not at all entertaining to me because I find it stupid really. Thats just me. If you like it, dig the stories, and find the athletes fun to watch (They are phenomenal athletes) then more power to you. Didn't mean to rip on fans in my first post. One more thing that pisses me off about wrestling now is this. Back in early WWF days (mid 80s) they had one Pay per View event, Wrestlemania. It was like the SUPER BOWL of wrestling and it was like it actually meant something. Then came Summerslam, a mid-season ppv event that kept it interesting. Was the Royal Rumble a PPV? I forget. Anyway, after that (but much more so within the past 5-6 yrs) wrestling has become nothing but PPV (for the good matches anyway). I know they do it b/c people are more than willing to pay $50 every month to watch the "match to end all matches" but it seems like overkill to me. ok carry on.

Now that they have Smackdown and RAW as separate brand PPV's (except for the big ones- Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, Survior Series and SummerSlam), you're more apt to see better matches on TV because it's sometimes 2 months before another brand's PPV.
November 5, 200322 yr It was Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series when I was really into wrestling. Then they added King of the Ring to fill the 'void' between Wrestlemania and SummerSlam which was about 5 months at that time or so.

Then they added King of the Ring to fill the 'void' between Wrestlemania and SummerSlam which was about 5 months at that time or so. That was when wrasslin was in its prime imo. There wasn't much of a storyline except that everybody hated each other. The only "backstage action" was an interview with Mean Gene Okerlund (ever been to his donut store?). ahhhh, the good old days. But hey, like I said before, If you like it the way it is now-super. It's a cash cow now and probably one of the most lucrative entertainment productions in existence. They must be doing something right.
November 5, 200322 yr I agree with you JBurque...that is when wrestling was at its best. There was a thing called wrestling back then..... Now you have all the away from the mat stuff with a match or two mixed in here and there, often horrible matches anyway. There were storylines though, somewhat. you had good vs evil often.... then they added things like Piper's Pit, which was fun. Brother Love's 'show' Brutus 'the Barber' Beefcake's show... etc. Once the old guard started to get old and leave...things faded and wrestling became what it is evolving into now. That and a lack of competition has caused the overall product to suffer. I still say when WCW was bought by what is now the WWE, they should of kept the WCW brand as the competition.
