MLB Network showing some love

Harold Reynolds just mentioned 2009 NL ROY will be Cameron Maybin. He says that with enough playing time, his skills will take over and he will win it!

I honestly think he'll be better than Hanley Ramirez. I know that sounds crazy, but that's my opinion.

Well he's already got him beat on defense, but offense is another story. If Cameron is even NEAR Hanley offensively, I think I'd be happy.

That was from the NL Award show a while back.

That's the thnig. I think Maybin is gonna be an elite offensive player.

As do I. We shall see, though.

I comparison of Hanley and Cameron, they are very similar.

Both of their last minor league seasons, both struggled to put up the numbers they had hoped. I remember when Hanley came over, he was viewed as a fantastic prospect, but had just had a down year and there were questions whether or not he needed another year in the minors to adjust. Cam is looking at a similar situation this year, but we all know, just like HanRam, he's going to win a starting spot. Hopefully he can put it together right away the same way...

I wish MLB would show the 03' Champs instead of showing the damn WHite Sox and the Houston Steriods! Maybin is the key to the whole offseason. If we doesnt show up then who we gonna turn to next? I think that he can't be worse than Abercomibie and they gave him so PT. But I always think what if he fails or gets injured then are the kids ready to contribute at the MLB level now.
