incredible play by Prado to throw out Bonifacio at first. Just another example of how the statistics don't tell the whole story. EB makes opposing defenses work... hard.

Yeah...he's also K'd 6 times in his last 8 AB's.

yeah because a baseball player MUST go 3 for 5 every night.

Well, when he does so, his supporters come in here to bash those who don't believe in him. Expect some of the same back when he goes 0-8 with 6 K's.

If Hermida had gone 0-8 with 6 K's in his last 8 AB's, you can bet you'd see a couple posters on here ready to call him a bust. Dim & Mungo would be in the front of the line.

Dont underestimate the importance of putting the ball in play, what if cody had struck out vs johan instead of hitting a long fly ball that murphy dropped? We lose that game. Striking out 6 times in 8 AB's is bad, no questions asked

nice work, Meyer.

lefty up next for Braves as well. Questionable move to take out Kiko, but its good to get some different guys some work to build confidence. Hopefully in the Nats series, we will not need to go to the 'pen too much, especially with 1-2-3 ready to go.

I would imagine that's why Fredi made the move. B/c there really was no other reason to make the move.
