The way things have been going I'd say 6-2, 6-5, or 3-2 losses are all more likely than either of your options.

If you thought the batting has been more of a problem than the pitching, why do you expect a win where the batting does well and the pitching does poorly?

I think he means that he's picking 6-5, basically to show why the hitting is more important than the pitching (b/c to him, those types of games are more common).

 

(not that it makes sense to me, but I believe that is his point)

The OP made a minor mistake. You checked the "allow multiple choice" box when you shouldn't have which is why there are check boxes instead of radio buttons next to the choices.
