Lets look at the bright side

Featured Replies

After tomorrow, we will have 21 of the next 27 games at home..hopefully, we can getting it going during this stretch.

and as atrocious as we've been lately, we're still only 1.5 games back of first.

GO FISH!

Don't we have a bad record at home?

lol yes, but one can expect that to turn around.

I was going to say that the fish seem to like playing on the road this year but then the Milwaukee series happened :(

I'm not too ecstatic about facing the Dodgers this weekend :/

I am, anyone know about the Hanley glove on friday for bingo? Is it a authentic replica, as in I can use it to play baseball?

Yeah, Manny's gonna kill us. :D

On the bright side: No one else in the NL East is playing particularly well at the moment.

It's probably the same one they're giving to the first 5,000 kids on Sunday.

The bright side is hanley's hot bonifacio is heating up coughlin looks good and Senior Macho Cantu doesnt stay cold too long. The rest of the line up is due big time because they have all stunk pretty bad lately, especially jerm-itis, ugly popeye and my beloved cody!cody! ross. And the dodgers have to come back to reality after beating up on the NL deadbeats and the phillies for the first month and a half. Ricky needs a nice raging 14,000 fans on sunday to get him rolling again. Or we can always try a human sacrifice. Any volunteers? Met fan anyone?

The bright side is the bullpen, and if the bullpen continues to pitch the way it has, I am very optimistic that this team will be fine.

Doubt it. More likely a replica of his glove. There's only 100 given away. The ones they give to the kiddies every year are smaller and a cheaper version.

If you look at the picture of the kid's glove, it's clearly vinyl, not leather. Plus, it's black where hanley's glove is natural cowhide brown.

That being said, the Firday night giveaways are usually fairly high dollar giveaways. Authentic jersey's, helmets (not replicas, but full-size helmets) and the like. I don't see them reversing that trend by giving away a glove that's probably costing them no more than a dollar or two per unit.

Of course, it's possible the glove given away tomorrow night is just a plain, normal glove signed by Hanley as opposed to the teal leather one he's been using since last year.
