6/7 Post Game

Featured Replies

You get only five hits in a game and you aren't really putting yourself in position to win.

This team needs an offensive enema. Bonifacion needs to be gone. If the front office were a country, there'd have been a coup by now...

Frustrating times, so frustrating. Ricky didn't look convincing to me, maybe he did get lucky to not have a worse pitching line. I just hope that the guy has some confidence in his ability again and can grow from here. Need a win tomorrow to split the series 2-2, let's hope West can keep us in the game and the bats can get to Randy Johnson.

good improvement by ricky and we can thank bonifacio for not making the routine play that cost us the game.

i knew that if uggla didnt get on wilson would close it......cant beleive he had him 3-0 and got him.

it seems like every game now is by 1 run. typical marlins.

Improvement by Ricky? They loaded the bases four times and he lucked out to strand them three times. On a normal night, this would have been a drubbing.

He got lucky. Plain and simple.

the improvement was that he got out of it genius and didnt fall apart. you always have to try to make yourself seem better.

Yes it was an improvement for Ricky but he certainly got lucky and on another night would of easily gave up 5 or 6 runs. I mean 10 hits and 3 walks in 7 innings, with 6/10 hits being double is just not good enough. Got extremely lucky from the mistakes of Molina and Kung Fu Panda when they were out at the plate.

I am actually embarassed that Fredi plays Bonifacio 2nd and Baker 8th, when every fan and every sports website in the country can see that Bonifacio is only worthy of a spot on the bench, never mind in the spot where a patient hitter like Baker excelled last year.

Agreed about Ricky. However, he did look pretty good (like ricky last year I would say) his first 3 innings ever as he was locating his fastball well, throwing first pitch strikes, and the curve ball looked nice.

You're right, it is embarassing that bonifacio is still has a starting spot (and batting #2!!!) on this team. His error was the difference last night and that's not the first time that has happened. It's time for Fredi and the FO to swallow their pride and bench the guy or send him down.
