Giants defeat the Marlins 3-2.

Should have lost by much more.

I'm cool with the 2 ER over the 7 innings, but totally embarassing to give up 10 hits. I'll take it, but I expect better if you want to stay in the rotation.

I know its an excuse but the Giants got lucky with all those bloop hits. God I hate that this team is soo inconsistent.

Good to see them make it interesting in the 9th. But too much Lincecum tonight.

 

Good signs from Ricky... still not in '08 form but I'll take it.

I thought we were going to pull that one through.

i hate fredi. he's putting players in position to fail instead of succeed. baker flourished hitting 2nd (.311 BA) but fredi decides to put him in the bottom of the lineup where he has struggled. not to mention why the hell are gload and helms hitting 4th when cantu gets the day off. you know just because cantu hit there doesn't mean other players can't be moved up in the lineup. fredi is the biggest p***y in the league and is just scared to upset the FO which is why bonifacio is still hitting 2nd.

well Gload showed up tonight.

I thought we were going to pull that one through.

 

 

Yeah, same. Lead off hits followed by 3-0 counts do that to me. =/

Nolasco was very shakey after the 3rd inning. They should have score atleast 5 or 6 runs easily.

 

Offense was pretty meh. I am not sure if it was Lincecum or stupidity or a combination of both. He didnt even has his best stuff.

 

Hopefully one day we will come from behind in the 9th to win the game. That would be nice Our hitters are sooo clutchless.

 

Nice to see Coghlan hit the homer off of Lincecum.

i knew that if uggla didnt get on wilson would close it......cant beleive he had him 3-0 and got him.

 

it seems like every game now is by 1 run. typical marlins.

Very true 6 doubles and guys out at home could have been 6 or 7 to 2 easily

I will give credit to Lincecum but it is very frustrating how this offense continues to fail with RISP. Ugh, they are so inconsistent. Ricky had a nice start though, so there's a bright spot.

i don't think it's helping. 11.5 thousand in attendence. though i have a great idea for samson. how about we start using some of that money the franchise is making and sign quality players instead of putting a bench player like bonifacio in a stater's role

ricky's whip was still around 2.00...bonifacio's error was the difference again (this'll be twice his errors have cost us a loss)...we were 0-4 with RISP and there were many times when our leadoff guy got on board to no avail...we also just lost 2 of 3 to the giants at home...yeah not so good.

Lincecum was very wild early in the game. We should have taken advantage. The offense is doing nothing right now. They probably could have sent a position player out there to be pitch, with nearly the same result.

Nolasco looked okay. Hopefully, he improves. Because he isn't going to be always able to work himself out of trouble.
