July 31, 200917 yr Play Hermida and let his trade value increase. Then trade him during the off season. That's if they want to trade him. As for Uggla, I'm pretty sure he'll make more next year. But you have to check with MarlinsLou on that.

July 31, 200917 yr We tried to trade Hermida for a starter today but didn't find an acceptable match. I think we will continue to look but I don't think unloading Hermida is going to be a priority till the end of the season. After that, its anyone's guess as to how and when he actually goes.

Might happen sooner but September being 40 man roster gives higher chance of Maybin being called up then instead of earlier, plus the whole super 2 thing.

Hermida has been hot as of late with an 8 game hit streak and he has gotten on base 3 times tonight.
August 1, 200917 yr It would be nice if Hermida could put up some decent power numbers. but I guess I'd settle for him to not strike out on a consistent bases.
