Everyone pretty much knew that either Willingham or Hermida were tradebait.

 

The front office was expecting Maybin to fill a spot this year after his September last year...along with Cody and 1 of Willingham/Hermida, and that's 3 OF spots.

 

So yes, Hammer was on the block. It wasn't surprising. What was a bit surprising was the return.

Sorry. Didn't think it was a big deal. You'd know what I was talking about. I know it was discussed with Hammer being injury prone, etc. Is there any player involved that you should be on the team but will get traded? I'm talking out of the box. Everyone here knows the FO is pretty creative. That is what keeps this team in it with this incredibly low payroll.

Not fully sure what you were trying to say here, but I think I know what you mean. Maybe Nunez or Lindstrom. If we offer both arbritration it would about 3 million combined for 2 average, at best, relievers. That would be un-Marlin like.
