5/22 - Marlins at White Sox 2:05 est.

Don't have the stats or anything but seems like when our bats get cold this year it's always away from home. That may not be the case at all.

Nice throw Cogs

How nice did that throw look from Cogs? To those watching the game?

Strong throw, but the runner's slide was very good. Technically he was safe, but called out.

Take some god damn pitches. Swing at every freaking thing.

I know, this is absolutely pathetic hitting. Floyd does not look that good out there, the Marlins are beating themselves here. Its a complete joke.

22 straight innings without scoring a run...offense really blows right now

our offense has really been terrible all year, except for that stretch of games where they scored like 8-10 runs which inflated the team's numbers

The Marlins offense is as quiet as this thread...

20 innings now w/o a run...

If I was Volstad, I'd hate pitching for this team. A groundball pitcher with a bad defense behind you, the face of the franchise who can't be bothered to run after balls for you and a hitting lineup that doesn't have good pitch discipline, recognition or the ability to score any runs.

Well if he's a groundball pitcher, he's really bad at it so far. Lot of fly balls, line drives, and home runs.
