MillerTime
I'm gonna head to the game early today to see if Mike will sign. I would imagine that tonight's game would be a great time to catch him in a signing mood.
Jagsfreak27
I don't think he signs for fans TBH. There was a video of him in Philly and he gave fans the cold shoulder. If you do want someone to sign for you, get Pinto. He took two, or three minutes to sign all my stuff up in Washington last year, as well as signing for the Nats fans. MillerTime
I would rather have the guy sitting next to me sign a ball than have Pinto sign it. Not being condenscending towards you, as I thank you for taking the time to reply, I am instead stating my disinterest in having something autographed by Pinto. Who knows maybe Stanton will sign at home. Best of luck and if you are lucky enough to get your things signed don't hesitate to share pictures :thumbup
Schnellders
Can you catch players to sign when entering or leaving the carpark at the stadium or something like that? Can do similar things at soccer matches here
FutureGM
From what I've heard Stanton has been a lot tougher this year. But I heard that he signed in Philly at least once after a game.
prinmemito
I never understood why players don't like to sign. Sure, I can't blame them for not signing 100 balls every game. But 15-25? Shouldn't be that much of a burden. If I were a player, I'd love every single minute of it, including signing baseballs.
FutureGM
I don't know. I had two completely opposite experiences with two different players this year. On the one side you have Stephen Strasburg, who makes it very clear that he HATES signing. He's extremely sarcastic to the point of being a dick. Now that he's in the majors my understanding is that he doesn't even acknowledge fans anymore, let alone sign. Pretty much what I figured based on the two times I met him before he started pitching in the minors. On the other hand, you have the guy the Nats drafted 9 picks after him last year, Drew Storen. Now THERE'S a nice guy. Not only will he sign anything you have, but he's actually talkative and friendly.
prinmemito
More reasons to hate Strasburg. Guy's a total dick.
FutureGM
It really took me off guard the first time, as after his 2nd professional start in Instructional League last fall, I was the first person to be waiting for him when he got off the field. Immediately he started acting like an ass. I can promise you I didn't do anything and was polite. He also had a good start, so there was no reason for him to be in a bad mood. It was almost as bad the second time I saw him at the end of Spring Training this year. He flipped out on some guy who wanted him to sign a photo because he said it 'wasn't authorized'. Except that at that point he had no official photos at all.
HawkFan
I've gotten Mike the past two years of ST. I think because he is so dedicated and focused on performing on the field, he just doesn't before the game. Everytime I've gotten him, it's been after the game. +1 on the comments about Strasburg. Howsever, if you've got Boras as an agent and are constantly told how awesome you are, once in a generation talent and that sort of thing, you're bound to get an attitude about yourself and "the little people." Shame.
HawkFan
If you're looking for an auto, there are some certified on ebay right now, actually a lot of certifieds. Prices are a bit inflated right now because of his MLB debut, but expect them to go down a bit if he struggles and/or is sent down. The Elite Extra edition has a high run, so they are his most affordable- picked one up for $2 before the start of the season.

I remember he was upset about being followed by all the media in one of his first bull pen session after he signed with the Nats. He wasn't to happy about all the media there and all the questions. Kinda funny to hear that he is a dick considering he was the fat overweight kid in hs who no one really wanted. Fame is a funny thing. Maybe he is just having trouble adjusting to everything. . FutureGM
Not exactly looking forward to dealing with Bryce Harper, since from what I've heard he may be worse than Strasburg.

He had a cow when I went to take his picture after he signed, saying something about "authenticating it" so I could sell it on Ebay! As for Stanton he signed for a couple of minutes Friday at Tampa Bay, if you get the chance its always better to get them in spring training or even better before they start playing games and they first report to ST.
