Braves trade Escobar to Jays

Featured Replies

I think the Braves are pretty much going all in this year and that's why they traded Escobar for a Sea bass who probably wont play like he is next year.

I do wonder how much a pain in the ass he was if the club house gave Gonzalez a standing O when he arrived. Which according to Onley was a shot at Esobar. If the whole team doesn't like you, you better be putting up Barry Bonds numbers.

Seems like an all or nothing move for one shot for the Braves. This move has to work this year or its a bust. And the Jays seemingly make the better long term move, which is smart for them at this point. For Sea Bass, this is a good trade as it puts him in line for a playoff spot... for the Braves though, after 2010, they'll probaby regret this one. The Jays are fine.

Well escobar hit a grand slam today....

And another Homerun today. Maybe he just didn't like it in Atlanta?

Probably moer of a "stick it to the Braves" for Escobar right now.

Braves want to win this year for Cox... I wouldn't be surprised if there was a few more deals like this.
