Left Field Line - 340 feet (104 m)

Left-Center Power Alley - 384 feet (117 m)

"Bermuda Triangle" In Left-Center - 420 feet (128 m)

Center Field - 416 feet (127 m)

Right-Center Power Alley - 392 feet (119 m)

Right Field Line - 335 feet (102 m)

Backstop: - 47 ft (14.3 m)

It's basically a larger park overall, except for Right Field (if I remember correctly.)

Yeah they basically flipped left and right field but it's slightly larger in left and center field now.

such as the pit in center field right now.... I dont know why they dont just make the wall straight there... it doesnt need to be symmetrical but it needs to be proper looking.

Isn't that the bermuda triangle? Or did I not understand your post?

I hope it isn't a Citi-field type thing where it's just some stupid half-oval throughout. Ballparks need their nooks and crannies to keep things interesting.

I refuse to aknowledge it's existence. I think it's absolutely retarded, and it doesnt keep things interesting, it keeps them moronic. It doesnt make any sense to put that there. And it better not be there in the new stadium.

Yes... What has been posted. It will be pitchers park.

I wasnt referring to the distances, I was referring to the dimensions. I mean, where the walll turns, etc.

I'm saying there better be no nook in center field for absolutely no reason... I havent seen the image of the field dimensions... so I dont know...

no matter what the dimension are mike stanton will be raking the ball into the stands out of the stadium.

Fixed :cool

What sense does Citi-Field's oval outfield thingy make, or Fenway's Green Monster? They're supposed to make the stadium's unique and possibly give the home team the advantage of knowing their park better.

The oval outfield thing is moronic. The Green Monster is different. It's not an imperfection, it's much more like an oddity. Having random indents makes no sense, and it shows absolutely no regulation in the matter. Why dont we just make random patches of dirt in the OF that way the outfielders have trouble running? And a random pole too? No, the walls need to be even to say the least.

Because perfectly even outfields are boring. They're just boring to look at.

Perfectly even is completely different from imperfections. That mound out in Houston is an imperfection. It's moronic. You can have special features to a park without actually ruining the field itself. I never said the field needs to be precise to a given measurement, or symmetrical either. There's just no place for a random hump in center field or a deep left center field corner in the wall for absolutely no reason other than just for the sake of having it. I think the Green Giant is a perfect example of being able to make a ballpark unique without actually making it look stupid (such as Minute Maid Park's center field).
