I'm not sure how long this has been going on, but for at least the past 4 years, on this Wednesday (the last Wednesday of the month), the Marlins have scheduled a day game. Is there something I don't know about this Wednesday? It can't be random. I know this because I always take this Wednesday off work, to stay at my parents annual timeshare (which i find it awesome that they're on in the afternoon)... also always on the start of SunFest in West Palm.

Total attendance....16,653. 8,000 of that are kids running around on a sugar high.

So in America school trips go to a baseball game. In Scotland school trips go to a country park to study insects.....

I will like when the new stadium is here because I will go to more day games. I haven't been to a day game in a few years because it is usually way too hot. But with the roof closed, and the natural light coming through the glass walls at the stadium, should be very awesome.

Last year i went one week to Miami during baseball season and went to weather day, i burnt all my skin and it was full of kids running around and using my seat.

 

and some years ago against dodgers -august 03-, when Gagne was on fire. I also burnt my skin, my legs, me feet. it was terrible, also, i was an idiot cuz i did not use sunblock nor cap.

If you sit in the lower bowl during the summer you are asking for a bad experience. We normally change our tix in for the 200 section. But normally April isn't all that bad. This has been a pretty warm one tho.

I have yet been to a Marlins day game where I have not seen an older man be taken away by paramedics. I wish I was kidding.
