November 23, 201213 yr I think the Marlins would go after Mark Reynolds if he isn't re-signed by the O's. Despite his terrible defense at 3B, he provides the power they've been looking for and he fits a position they'll probably have a hole in in 2013 (assuming that they trade Yunel Escobar)
November 24, 201213 yr Sign Josh Hamilton or Michael Bourn for Center field.Maybe James Loney for first base. That's all i have for now.

Why? Looking at his career numbers, I don't see him as a platoon candidate. Ok, sorry, I think I mixed Reynolds with Eric Chavez.
November 30, 201213 yr Author I wouldn't mind going a season with Jeff Keppinger at 3rd. My best guess is we sign Mark Reynolds and flip Yunel Escobar in that order. I feel like the Marlins will be under strict scrutiny and any future trade will be preceded by a MLB signing. But maybe the JP signing means a trade is coming up soon. Anyway, the Winter Meetings should be interesting. I wonder how Loria will be received. It would be hilarious if he had to eat alone at the lunch table like he did at the GM meetings.
