He signed with the Fish cause we were the only team willing to spend $10 million on a 31 year-old catcher. He even considered playing in Japan if he didn't get the $10 million he wanted. He's greedy and he showing it now wanting a 5 year/$50 million contract.

December 6, 200322 yr I may be wrong, but I seriously think that Scott Dumbass has a lot to do with what is happening. Look at Lowell and Castillo. Then look at their agents. Then consider that their agents did what they are supposed to do - get the best deal they can for their clients WHILE following their wishes. If Fudge wanted to be here, he could sign the contract already. He wants to test the market - screw Fudge, we dont need him. And I am not saying that out of anger - I would rather us use his money elsewhere - like keep Urbina and get another strong arm in the back end of the pen to go with him, Fox, and whoever else we got.
