July 29, 201412 yr If you think he is shitty defensively you must not watch the games. You can hate on his offense all you want and I won't argue with you. I'm not satisfied with his bat but I'm hoping he will continue to improve at the plate. However, his defense not being good is just a bunch of garbage. Stats say otherwise. Dietrich is going to be a nice utility guy in the future for somebody. Hopefully its the Marlins.
July 29, 201412 yr Author samson responded lol. "Thanks for the email...hope you enjoyed last nights game" and "We have extremely affordable tickets every game...we have deals of all kinds...check our website...have a nice day" I responded with "Perhaps we havent made the playoffs in over 10 years because you take one game sample sizes over 2 years of awful hitting where this guy has put up an OPS of .601 in now over 1000 AB's." and also said "That doesnt change the fact that multiple people have now had the same kind of story where they go asking for the cheapest tickets you have only to be told that the upper deck section was sold out and then enter the ballpark to see 7 people up there. But I understand it I guess, you gotta over charge people to carry such a large payroll."
July 29, 201412 yr Yeah at this point Samson doesn't care. Ur one person and he has plenty of people making the baseball decisions. Not trying to be rude but that's the way Samson will see u now.
July 30, 201412 yr Realistically, everyone wants to rag on Samson but he's a decent dude and friendly every time I've bumped into him. Heck- he even helped me one time with a request I had. Your rant is just that- a rant. Sometimes you need to step back and look at everything as a whole. Hech may not be good- but who else could we trade for/ sign who has any value right now above replacement. He provides sometimes stellar defense- that alone helps this staff. Last nights bobble not withstanding- he's done a decent job out there. I'm almost sure he's better than Stephen Drew too. Now the black hole at 2b? Fire away. I felt like Jack Skellington reading this post: What's this? What's this? A good post from Piazza? What's this? Now I'll go eat some matzah.
