March 16, 201511 yr out of curiosity. When a player gets opted to AAA or AA during spring training is it different than a player being assigned to minor league camp? does the opted player continue spring training in minor league camp as well? Just that they're guaranteed a roster spot already?
March 16, 201511 yr Author @legacyofCangelosi: If a player is on the 40-man, he is optioned. If he was a non-roster invitee, then he is re-assigned. Both go to minor league camp
March 16, 201511 yr I'm curious if anyone actually follows the day to day happenings of minor league camp the way most of us follow major league camp?
