It seems my idea of scoring more runs than the giants was successful in leading the marlins to the win column. Please use same strategy tonight. 

 

 

I expect some dongs tonight against lincecum. His velocity has plummeted even more this year and he's leaving stuff over the plate so fishies just need to be patient.

 

I'm a lot less impressed/optimistic with Cosart than most of youse, but hope he can get 6 solid in.

​Hey, Cosart is solid when he doesn't walk people. His stuff to induce grounders is a little less than Hendo, but still very solid. Also he's competitive, which I like as well

​I don't think he's bad, I just think this board overrates him. His got a really nice fastball but his secondary stuff is just so bleh (decent enough change up though). He seems to be throwing the slider a lot more this year so maybe that'll help. He should do well in the park/against this lineup though. Lez get back to 500.

Marlins pitcher Henderson Alvarez was able to throw 50 pitches at 92 mph during his last rehab outing and manager Mike Redmond said Alvarez could return after one more rehab start, reports USA Today.

 

Alvarez is on the 15-day disabled list with a right shoulder and elbow injury. The Marlins are hoping he can return to the team by the middle of May.

i'm worried red will drop prado back out of the #2 slot and put yelich back in there even though prado has been amazing in that spot.

​Nah exactly where his 2 seamer sits usually. He can touch 95ish but usually sits around 92/93. Just noticed his velocity on the 2 seamer is actually down 1.5mph so far this year. Hopefully this DL stint helps with that.
