Overrated till no end.

 

I think you are in the minority in that opinion.  Besides, I don't think anyone is over rating him.  He's a good relief pitcher and a fairly reliable closer.  I haven't seen anyone compare him to any of the top tier closers or relievers in the league. 

 

 

Ramos is an average reliever which is why there should have been a concerted effort to move him when his value was high.  Oh well, maybe he can give Stanton massages all year to keep him healthy.

You figure a top tier closer gets you about a 2-2.5 fWAR most years. Ramos had a 1.1 last year. I would say that puts him in the top half at least. Slightly above average.
