Marlins playoff odds

Featured Replies

That's still really high. I thought it would be closer to the odds of @Admin getting laid. So, zero.

I was about to say what a stupid thread, delete it... but then you posted this ... AND TOTALLY REDEEMED THE THREAD!!!

Why is it a stupid thread?

Because based on reading the title alone, and not looking at the content and who started it, I thought it was a serious look at our playoff odds. Considering the weekend we just suffered through, it'd be horrible timing to start a serious thread about our playoff odds.

It is a serious look at the playoffs odds. Starting 3-7 hasn't really helped them, as one can imagine. But it's a cool graph/look overall for any team

Yes understood but you're posting it facetiously because our odds were relatively low and have now lowered even more, as opposed to you just coming on here being like "it's at 13%, we're still in this one guys, Go Fish!"

We ain't in anything with this bullpen!

I actually posted it because it's the first time I've looked at it since before opening day and thought it was a fun little exercise. Stop being such a sensitive sally

YES YES YES FIGHT FIGHT. If I'm lucky one of you will quit the site, if I'm very lucky both will

right now, 0%. a 9 game winning streak against phillies, braves, and padres plus .500 against real strong teams? then 70%. you gotta beat bad teams

In all honesty, it's probably something like 0.1%

chances rise if you beat bad teams. nationals went 6-0 vs. Atlanta. shows you who is better. but because of the trend of baseball nationals will drop at least 3 this week.

I'm talking about the quality of the roster and the strength of the league/division. Not game by game results. The Marlins could sweep their next series and I would still say their playoff chances are 0.1%.

This is not a good team. They mostly sat on their hands during the offseason and some key players are injured.

yes, sitting on their hands during the offseason and did nothing is accurate. yay for chen. but Edwin Jackson, chris Johnson, and the bullpen acquisitions.....just no. hey bro, not my money. I just watch. I may invest in the tean more than I should, but of course like I say every april-june, I should have known better.

I'd say the sensitive one is the one who needed a thorough explanation when I used the term stupid to describe his thread. And don't call me Sally.

Russell martin with the big hit for the jays. we don't have that BIG HIT guy. I would think that ozuna's spot, but nooooooo, he's thinking about the prison that is AAA again.

Prado is probably our big hit guy, but without the power.

hahaha, yes good one. and yet, quite sad that its prado.
