The salary is irrelevant. He bats in the cleanup spot. Hechavarria is the 8 hole hitter. Yes he's been horrible but when your top of the order caliber guys struggle it affects the team way more than when your 8 hole hitter struggles. Also I think it isn't even debatable hechavarria is the worst hitter in our lineup.

Those are the pitches he makes. He throws a fastball that isn't good, but looks much better to hitters than it does to a fan because they have slider in the back of their minds.

No my problem is his numbers in close games after the 7th inning that go back to last season. even with the homer last week against philly that got us the win his overall numbers in that situation are horrible. As a fan that's extremely frustrating. But I don't have a problem with Stanton. Nor am I calling for him to be traded released etc.
