December 13, 200322 yr weren't bound to get much in the deal anyway.... oh well. thanks for the good work Juan.
December 13, 200322 yr Yeah, this really makes it seem to be a big run at Vlad. Or Conine in left, Choi at 1st, and Cabs in RF, but to me that seems unlikely!
December 13, 200322 yr Cabrera in RF, Conine in LF, Choi at first if we don't make any more moves I would think. Keep in mind, this is win-win since we were going to non tender Enc anyway and get nothing most likely.

December 13, 200322 yr This would be a terrible move for the Dodgers if they actually intended to go to arbitration with Encarnacion. However, it's possible that they're just giving up a lesser prospect here with the intention of offering Encarnacion a one-year deal at close to his 2003 salary and then non-tendering him if he doesn't accept it. That still doesn't sound like a great idea to us, but Encarnacion at $3.5 million would be better than Encarnacion at $5 million /Rotoworld This is a Sign?
December 13, 200322 yr Beinfest knows what he's doing. Good move for us; at least we got something in return for a player that was as good as gone anyway
December 13, 200322 yr Author cabs will be in RF and Niner in LF And batting third for your Florida Marlins... VLADIMER GUERRERO!
December 13, 200322 yr anyone given some thought who's going to cover RF? does this mean we may be making space for a Serious run at Vlad? This move is part one of two, and our FO has part two all set to launch. And I think it's an outfielder.
