April 25, 20179 yr DFA Tazawa, call up Nicolino & move Koehler to the pen. That is a lot of money to waste right now. Marlins paid him pretty well, and on a 2 year contract none the less.
April 25, 20179 yr Author DFA McGowan and call up Ellington is the better move. TK to the pen. They made nico stop throwing his cutter...looks like a k boost along with a bb boost... Its not just the cutter. He changed his mechanics a bit and had increased velocity.

May 29, 20179 yr McGowan still on the team? Yes. Man I'm normally so good at knowing the roster on a daily basis but with the losing this month and all the roster moves I'm not exactly sure who's up and down right now, I'd imagine your the same. McGowan is a definite yes though.

May 29, 20179 yr It seems that they don't want to start him anymore. They decided on Worley due to the Angels lineup being RH heavy. All things equal, I'm guessing they'd have started Nicolino.
