I think Vlad would take a 6 year deal @ $96M. That is 16 per - I personally dont want to commit to a player that long, would rather it be a 4 year deal. But, if it gets us Vlad...that would be a huge, huge lift for this franchise. I think the FO and Loria know this. This could net them a stadium deal immediately, especially if Vlad's contract is tied to a stadium deal like Lowell's.

These guys are getting bitter about Vlad and his agents dealings...why do they care so much? They rejected a deal with the Expos because VLAD DIDNT WANT TO BE THERE...

 

One (dont know who) said Vlad didnt give his agent any parameters...that he is a recluse and needs guidance (suggesting maybe his agent is in total control of negotiations?).
