Fair enough, but we really need to stretch the young starters out to see what we actually have.  Peters didn't really have a stressful inning tonight.  Just the one bad pitch to Diaz.

 

i agree.  I would have at least started him in the 7th but it worked out.  My biggest issue with mattingly isnt WHEN he uses the bullpen but HOW he uses the bullpen.  Maybe its just because the terrible bullpen arms stand out more, but it feels like mattingly loves using the worst arms much more prevalent than the best arms.
