I was just pointing out he edited his post after my reply, changing the context of his post.

 

Perhaps he saw that it was going to be construed in such a way and wanted to make sure it wasn't going to be - I've done that. It's why editing is an option here, friend. ❤️

And he just happened to edit it perfectly to what I had said in my reply. Quite a coincidence!

 

 

I know me and Jack don't agree on things often but he's right here. There's nothing wrong with editing but doing it after someone responds to you in a way that retroactively changes the context of the response is sneaky. It's retracing your steps and saying "that's not what I meant."

And I edited my post probably 20 seconds after my original post.  

 

There is absolutely a difference between that and editing a post 3 hours later.

I clicked the quote button and I didn't edit your post so I don't see how that is possible.

It was edited twice, first time was four minutes after original post, second time was eight minutes.

 

The first reply occurred nine minutes after the original post. So @DTrain is correct that his edits happened before anyone replied.

Could have had the exact page opened for a while before you got to it and didn't see the edit before you quoted.

That's a terrible system you have there then. When someone clicks "Quote" it should quote the latest version of the post, not the one displayed on their screen from a few minutes ago.
