Not sure if it’s been discussed anywhere else but anyone have any ideas why he’s been struggling I much lately ? Is the velo down ? Something mechanical? Thoughts ?

end of the season and his arm is tired?

League adjusting. He's always had issues with the long ball.

the work he puts in this offseason will go a long way to see if he can now readjust and be a quality arm in the rotation going forward or if he just ends up being an average #3-4 type guy

Agreed!

Shoulda traded his ass when we had the chance..

since they moved Gallen at the deadline I like to think they did field some offers for Caleb as well and just perhaps didn't find any to their liking so they hung on to him.  for all his 2nd half struggles as the league adjusts back to him - he still has solid stuff to succeed in the bigs as a part of the starting rotation.  Every team needs a reliable #3 as well so perhaps it was just an issue of not finding the right trade offer at the deadline that would have brought back more than what Caleb is capable of providing going forward.
