September 2, 20196 yr League adjusting. He's always had issues with the long ball. the work he puts in this offseason will go a long way to see if he can now readjust and be a quality arm in the rotation going forward or if he just ends up being an average #3-4 type guy

September 3, 20196 yr Shoulda traded his ass when we had the chance.. Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft[maybe]
September 3, 20196 yr It's why you would never have enough pitching depth, you would never know which SP would collapse in anytime.
September 3, 20196 yr Shoulda traded his ass when we had the chance.. since they moved Gallen at the deadline I like to think they did field some offers for Caleb as well and just perhaps didn't find any to their liking so they hung on to him. for all his 2nd half struggles as the league adjusts back to him - he still has solid stuff to succeed in the bigs as a part of the starting rotation. Every team needs a reliable #3 as well so perhaps it was just an issue of not finding the right trade offer at the deadline that would have brought back more than what Caleb is capable of providing going forward.
