February 9, 20206 yr Don't see the harm in tossing him a minor league deal with a ST invite. Zero risk. May as well do it. If he ends up looking really good, then perfect. If not, then again, zero risk.
February 16, 20206 yr Author This dude is persistent as fuck. Dedication. Hopefully someone gives him a chance.
February 16, 20206 yr Dedication. Hopefully someone gives him a chance. The Marlins gave him a chance years ago, he wasn't good enough to stick around. The chances of him really being any better now are kinda slim.

No, he was too injured to stick around. In 2014 after Jose got injured, Henderson picked up the slack. No he wasn't as exciting but when we needed an ace more than ever, he stepped up. Then he unfortunately got injured the next year and it was severe enough that the team, with the old ownership group's infinite wisdom, decided it wasn't worth keeping him around as he recovered. Give him another chance. It won't hurt at all to give him a minor league deal with a spring training invite and see what he can do.

February 17, 20206 yr Author There is no risk in a minor league deal. Not sure why anyone would be against it.
February 17, 20206 yr I agree, 2014 was only six years ago. My point was that he didn't pitch poorly, as was stated. Stop being so snarky, Erick, you snarky bitch.
February 17, 20206 yr Not sure why anyone would be against it. Because he would block Sixto, Edward, Guzman, Neidert, Rogers and Garett …
February 17, 20206 yr Yeah he was injured and that was significant but he didn't make it to the majors again after that either so I'm not so sure he was that good after all.

He's absolutely injury prone, yes, but again no harm in a minor league deal with a spring training invite.
