July 17, 20224 yr Correct me if I'm wrong didn't Max Meyer's older brother Ben pitch for us briefly. If so, then are there any other siblings that have played for the franchise?
July 17, 20224 yr Donovan and Jhonatan Solano Ben Meyer and Max Meyer are related? I know Max has a brother named Ben, but I didn't know it was the same guy if it is.
July 17, 20224 yr According to this website: https://www.baseball-almanac.com/family/fam6.shtml The Marlins have never had a set of brothers playing at the same time, at the MLB level. Now as far as if the Marlins have had a set of brothers both playing for the Marlins organization at any level, I had to research and I can’t believe I forgot about them, because we used to talk about them a lot a couple of years ago.. The Mesa Brothers! Victor Mesa Jr. and Victor Victor Mesa.

Dunno about you but I'm pretty disappointed his brother isn't Oscar. Edited July 17, 20224 yr by hovertical Sigh

July 17, 20224 yr After checking I can confirm that the Ben Meyer that used to play on the Marlins is NOT Max Meyer’s brother. Max Meyer does have an older Brother named Ben. Both Max Meyer and the pitcher Ben Meyer are from Minnesota and both pitched for the University of Minnesota, and the pitcher Ben Meyer is 6 years older than Max, so all the pieces fit for a great story. Except, the pitcher Ben Meyer’s parents are Bob and Phoebe and Max Meyer’s parents are Kathy and Kent. So, not related.
