Only time I eat it is if I'm on a road trip and have to stop for gas/am hungry in the middle of nowhere town where it's the only option.

Their fries (when fresh) are still top tier. Everything else there sucks though.

I still eat McDonald's occasionally, willingly. I know it's shit but I still enjoy the taste and like it once in a while. Guilty pleasure I guess? Not nearly as often as I used to though, I think having it less makes me appreciate it as a rarity now. Thankfully my kids don't love it (or need it) as much as I did when younger.

I will say I find nothing wrong with their breakfast. It's a bit overpriced now for sure but once in a while when I need to wake up early and get out the house fast and need to grab a quick breakfast an egg mcmuffin or a sausage egg mcmuffin still hits the spot.

yeah their breakfast is much more palatable than their traditional fare imo.

although when i was in my teens and prices weren't insane like they are now McD's was pretty bomb since you could get literally a dozen cheeseburgers to share with your buds for like $7

Prices now are so bad. I think one can kinda shrug it off when you're on your own and you're now paying like 8 bucks instead of 5 and you just go "damn" but when you go with the whole family and suddenly you're dropping $45 at McDonald's and you get a heart attack even before eating your food it's like "daaaammmmnnnn!!!!"

Just watched a new video from a dude on a Camping channel I follow and the dude ordered an egg Mac at McDonald's. It's a big Mac but with egg patties instead of beef. So egg with the Mac sauce lettuce pickles onion etc 🤢

 

edit: it should be noted he originally tried to ask for a "big mac but with eggs on it instead of beef" and the lady told him they can't do that...so then he asked for an egg mcmuffin and asked if she could put big mac sauce on it, add lettuce, add pickles, add onions and then put it on a bun instead of the muffin and the lady was all..."Sure!"
