The arm is fine.  He just needs to learn to throw like an outfielder. He's using all arm and not his body.  He needs to do a crow hop and bring all of his momentum towards the plate.

I just can't understand why all of our pitching seems to have regressed.   It's not like they're old. I've always considered Mel to be a great pitching coach but I might have to reconsider that.

It also feels like they've all fallen in love with the change up which is fine, but not at the expense of your fastball.  Seems like every time a ball gets crushed it's a change up that wasn't located well.

He's much better than what he's showing.  I think the injuries got to his head. He said before the season that he didn't want to Max out on his fastball to avoid getting injured again. It's all mental.
