I don't know that Maldonado sucks. I kind of like what I had seen before today. However,  make him fucking earn it before you throw him into high leverage situations.

I love what Lopez and Brujan have been doing at the plate so far.  No more TA please. I would like to see Gray get some ABs now.

He threw 9 sliders in a row at one point culminating with that meatball to torkelson. Overall it was 20 sliders to 3 FB. Awful pitch selection. 

maldanado does has a terrible FB and very very good slider unless it’s the only pitch he throws 😝. He’s very unlikely to be a major leaguer because while his slider is good, it’s not good enough for him to be a one pitch pitcher

Same. I would mute games with Rod announcing or watch the other teams feed last year. He was right there in terms of shitty with Holly. JP and Paul had awesome chemistry and I really enjoyed listening to them call games together.

Honestly, it's hard to keep up with it because there's a similar but slightly different novel each post.

 

A lot of them in the past that I can think of have involved trading arms (Luzardo, Scott, etc) to the Orioles for their bat prospects.
