Results after the latest homestand:

The Twins series attendance was abysmal:

Game 1 - 7,860

Game 2 - 7,596

Game 3 - 9,690

Total - 25,146, for a 8,382 per game average.

The Milwaukee series was better but not great:

Game 1 - 16,715

Game 2 - 11,378

Game 3 - 12,513

Total - 40,606, for a 13,535 per game average

Overall attendance is down 8.83% on the year.

That concludes the home schedule pre All Star Break.

The next series will begin after the break, with a series against the Royals from 7/18-7/20, and the Padres from 7/21-7/23.

The place is sure to be packed lol.

Latest numbers after this homestand.....

Down even more on the year. 9 home series to go on the year

Next up are series against the Yankees 8/1-8/3, and Astros from 8/4-8/6. The Yankees series should be good crowds and close the gap a fair amount.

Ok, so here are the attendance numbers after this homestand, which as expected had huge crowds for the Yankees series....

The Yankees series alone closed the gap from last year to this year from down 65,032 to down just 4,013.

Add the Houston series in, and we're now at a slight increase vs. this point in the home schedule last year (to be fair, we didn't play the Yankees last year, which is a guaranteed attendance boost).

The Yankees series attendance total was 101,545, which I believe they said is a series record at loanDepot/Marlins park.

Game 1 - 32,299

Game 2 - 34,645

Game 3 - 34,601

The Astros series attendance total was 33,068

Game 1 - 10,827

Game 2 - 12,186

Game 3 - 10,073

There are only 7 home series left, with 3 in our next homestand, which will feature:

STL Cardinals (8/18-8/20)

TOR Blue Jays (8/22-8/24)

ATL Braves (8/25-8/27)

Meh....at least down here it seems. Maybe they have better numbers in other cities....

They didn't have the best attendance series last year, but it was also a Mon-Wed series.

image.png

In 2023, they had a Mon-Thurs series with better attendance for 2 of the games, and roughly the same for the other 2.

2022 saw this early in the season....

Pretty crazy that the St. Louis series and Atlanta series combined (54,611) didn't outdraw the Toronto series (60,486).

Nice to see attendance up. It will be up even more next year. The full bandwagon effect will be felt in 2027.

Attendance dropped by 75k from 2023, so them being at least semi-competitive this year made it bump back up. Plus, they had the Yankees series this year and didn't last year. That alone added at least 20-30k on the season lol

Alright folks, I know this thread hasn't had much traffic lately but here's the final attendance report for 2025:

Attendance was up a fair amount this year vs. last year - up 69,179 - which makes sense since they were more competitive, plus we played the Yankees again at home.

However, attendance was slightly lower (-6,176) than 2023.

It'll be interesting to see next year's numbers. Obviously whether or not they're competitive will play a factor. But a bigger factor, IMO, is that we won't be playing the Yankees next year. We will play the Red Sox, but I don't think they have as big of a draw as the Yankees.
