Cal Quantrill is now worth 1WAR per FG and while he’s had some huge clunkers, has been overall decent and outperformed his $3M or whatever it is. His FIP also a lot better than his era.

This is literally the type of signing nearly every shitty rebuilding team should be making each offseason - sometimes they don't pan out but when they do it's an easy flip at the deadline for something. Good for Dix for landing on one that actually worked out. Hopefully they get something decent once the other big names are off the trade table for teams in contention.
