Was watching the Rays game as well. Yandy Diaz was batting at the same time as Otto and they mentioned that Yandy had just overtaken Otto for top batting average in MLB. Yandy walked, but the triple by Otto puts him back on top.

I've been critical of the pitching coaches, especially early in the season, but I have to give them credit. Their plan of calling pitches from the dugout took a minute to work, bit ot seems to be working beautifully right now.

Rome wasn't built in a day and there is still a ways to go for long-term success but right now the big league squad is a well-oiled machine and the minors are firing on all cylinders as well. It's almost as if all that infrastructure work like improved facilities, weight room, analytics, and strategies are starting to come to fruition. Laying the groundwork for sustainable success was sort of mocked but King Bendix is looking pretty prescient right now.
