Haven't been to a game since pre-Covid. And this will be the first time I'm taking my son to a Marlins game, he just turned 6 and he's jacked about it. I picked the perfect time to see them, right? (haha) This will also be the first time I'm utilizing the Brightline. I live in Orlando, so that's a pretty harrowing drive, the price was fairly reasonable, so we decided what the hey. Got a hotel, we're going to see both Saturday and Sunday's games.

Anybody have any experience using Brightline to get to games?

Do they have a shuttle from the station to the park (and back)? Or I guess if you're staying the weekend, maybe you don't care about that?

I've only taken Brightline once on a one-way from FTL to Orlando, and enjoyed the trip on the train itself as you can just sit there and chit-chat or whatever, but it was too expensive to take regularly, IMO. I also haven't found the math to work well in that you need transportation once you get there (Orlando especially since it dumps you at the airport). If they have a shuttle, it'll work for you.

I noticed they did have a shuttle going from the stadium back to the Miami Brightline station, but the timing didn't make sense to me, the train was to leave at 4:45, the games starts at 1:40. That seemed to be cutting it super close if we were going to see the whole game. So I picked a train leaving a couple hours later. We'll be Ubering back and forth from our hotel and the stadium. We'll see how it goes. Should be fun, the team has 3 games and 4 days to turn this shit around.
