Bert with a terrible dive on a play he should have played on a hop. Then he takes strike 3 almost entirely in the zone and burns a challenge. Also, the Marlins are swinging early at pitches that are nowhere near the heart of the zone. Did we learn nothing from yesterday when you nearly handed the Pirates pitcher a Maddox?

With Otto and x being two of worst hitters in baseball in 2nd half and hicks gone and Stowers hurt, this is a very bad offense

The little things are piling up.

Burns is probably my favorite pitcher to watch. When Miz inevitably gets hurt, people will see he is the best pitcher in the game. No shame losing to him. If Hunter Greene were healthy, Reds would have a filthy 1-2 punch.

But, our baseball IQ is low and we lost this game in the field with the little things. Drives me crazy.

On to tomorrow and the newly resurgent Gusto.
