With the third-cheapest ticket prices (average: $12.78)-deservedly so, given the sorry park-average attendance rose 62% last season.. Fans also like the style of MLB's oldest manager (Jack Mckeon) and the promise of young pitchers Josh Beckett,A.J. Burnett and Dontrelle Willis. Owner Jeff Loria, on the other hand, isn't especially popular. Can't Imagine why. Nice. Yankees (28th) Lakers (31rst) Braves (33rd) Carolina Panthers (42nd) Chicago Cubs (45th) Miami Dolphins... :mischief (57th) ...and many more are behind us. New York Knicks finished last in 116th place and the Spurs topped out at First.

Loria isn't popular, neither is the team. I've liked Loria: the only time he made me mad was when we shipped of Cliffy and Dempster, but that worked out well, didn't it?
February 8, 200422 yr Glad to see the Marlins ranked so high... The true Marlins fans deserve to be rewarded for their dedication. All I can say as being a native of Chicago is that I feel blessed to have witnessed a World Series champ and Super Bowl winner in my first two years in The Sunshine State. Too bad my White Sox and Bears couldn't be as fortunate or successful.
